Mike Flanagan (Doctor Sleep, Midnight Mass, A Haunting at Hill House) will produce a new action horror film starring Kate Siegel (Midnight mass) AND David Dastmalchian (Late night with the devil).
The film is titled Epilogueand the story “is set one year after the end of the zombie apocalypse. But a couple must find a cure for their daughter, who is infected.”
Director The Fall of the House of Usher Michele Fimognari he is directing the film with Luke Barnett AND Tanner Thomason write the screenplay.
Siegel and Dastmalchian both have roles in Flanagan’s upcoming Stephen King adaptation The Life of Chuckwhich Flanagan says might be his best film ever.
She said: “I felt that way even while we were filming. I felt that way at the end of the first week. The dance was first, which is a confident way to start an independent film, but [sometimes] that’s how it lands.
“It was the first time in my life that I loved what was on the monitor equally, or rather… more. Four days later, I knew something magical was happening.”
Siegel has previously collaborated with Flanagan on many of his projects, including Silence, Oculus, Gerald’s Game, The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manorand more.
Epilogue This sounds like it could be an interesting movie and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
