Jamie Lee Curtis says “Never say never” on possible return to the HALLOWEEN franchise

Halloween ends it was supposed to be a farewell to the story of Laurie Strode and Michael Myers, but stars of the franchise Jamie Lee Curtis lets fans know that there’s always a chance that she could return to the franchise again one day,

During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress said, “I hung up my bell-bottoms and my light blue button-down shirt, and I gave up [Laurie] through the ages with a warm “aloha” and thanks for all the years and memories.”

Then he adds: “And yet, if I have learned anything in these 65 years on the planet, it is never say never.”

When it comes to these big franchises, anything is possible. When previously there was talk of finishing Strode’s story Halloween endsCurtis said:

“I realized it would be the last time I would see Laurie Strode. It was very powerful for me. I cried. David [Gordon Green, director] he cried. We all recognized that moment, which was closure for me and Laurie Strode. And this community of artists who made these films. It was a big deal.”

There are currently no plans to bring Curtis back as Laurie Strode, but there is news Halloween project under development.

Mirimax is developing a Halloween series, which is said to be a “complete reset” of the franchise. It is also expected to potentially launch a cinematic universe spanning film and television.”

It was explained: “The foundation of it is the original film, the John Carpenter film, the characters from that film, and maybe a group of characters that we haven’t focused on much in recent theatrical releases or even a number of them .

“This is a complete creative reset and a return to the original film, rather than straying from any of the more recent film adaptations.”

Halloween is one of those horror franchises that will never die. It will be constantly played with and reinvented, and one day, who knows, maybe Curtis will one day return as Laurie Strode.
