THE FANTASTIC 4 composer Michael Giacchino explains that the theme does something that “no other Marvel film has ever managed to do”

Longtime Marvel Studios composer Michele Gioacchino he recently spoke about the theme for which he created Fantastic Four: First Stepswhich debuted at D23 earlier this year.

While he was a guest on Brandon Davis’ show During the YouTube show, the composers talked about what they wanted the theme to convey and it’s something he believes Marvel Studios has never done before.

He explained that the theme should “have a sense of hope and optimism in a way that, frankly, no other Marvel movie has yet.”

Giacchino added, “I wanted this to feel like, ‘Oh, it’s really just about a family going through something really difficult.’

“At the end of the day, they live in this era of optimism and hope and discovery and progress in science and technology, and I thought it would be really fun to highlight that.”

I think the theme works great and definitely captures the message he was trying to convey.

However, Giacchino is not just a composer. He is also a director and has directed Marvel Werewolf at night Special presentation. There are also rumors that he is in line to direct the project Midnight’s Children movie.

Fantastic Four is set in the 1960s in an alternate reality version of New York City. Movie stars Pedro Pasquale (The last of us) as Reed Richards, Joseph Quinn in the role of Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch, Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible: Showdown) as Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman; AND Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher, The Bear) as Ben Grimm, aka The Thing.

Paul Walter Houser he was also recently cast in the project in an unknown role Natasha Lyonne,, AND Giulia Garner (Ozark, Inventing Anna), who will take on the role of Shalla-Bal, an incarnation of the Silver Surfer. Ralph Ineson will play Galactus.

Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released in theaters on July 25, 2025.
