As the 10th Annual Hunger Games approach, Young Snow worries when he receives instructions from his mentor Lucy Gray Baird, a tribute to a poor girl from District 12. Snow thinks luck may turn in his favor. Combining his showmanship instincts and newfound political acumen to save Snow and Lucy in a battle against time, it will finally be revealed who is a songbird and who is a snake.
Lionsgate announced at CinemaCon 2022 that it will open on November 17, 2023 for the Prequel, the same Thanksgiving main theater. Hunger Games extensions Catching Fire Mockingjay Part One Y mockingbird part two Opened. The sequel is directed by Frances Lawrence, who returns with a new image. The final draft of the script goes to Michael Leslie (Macbeth, Assassin’s Creed).
Deadline previously announced that Tom Blitt would be starring as Coriolanus Snow and Rachel Zegler in the Lucy Gray Baird prequel.
