Adult Swim has released a surprise first look Rick and Morty Season 8 during the New York Comic-Con panel. This is an unfinished animated clip from the series, but all the fun comedy we love about the series is still there.
In it we see Rick and Morty listening to a podcast while on their next adventure. In the process, they come across a ship floating through the galaxy with all of the crew members in stasis form.
Things take a turn for the worse when Rick decides to steal the hypercoal from the ship and they end up accidentally waking up the aliens.
The clip comes after it was announced that the show had been renewed for two new seasons! This means we should expect new episodes of the show until 2029.
The show was created by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland and follows a genius sociopathic scientist who drags his inherently shy grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe.
Harmon said in a statement: “No one wants a universe without it Rick and Morty,. Luckily, the list of places to go remains endless.”
Writer and showrunner Scott Marder he added: “I couldn’t be more proud to have received this passing of the baton in my life Rick and MortyIt’s season four and will take us to season 10. Going beyond that now is a gift I can’t wait to give to our fans. Rick and Morty – one hundred years – forever!”
Features the voice cast of Ian Cardoni like Rick e Harry Belden as Morty, starting in the seventh season after Roiland’s exit, as well as Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke and Harmon, just to name a few.
