Peacock’s follow-up series THE OFFICE from creators Greg Daniels and Michael Koman adds four members to the cast

The Peacock one The Office Universe expansion by creators and executive producers Greg Daniels AND Michael Koman has added four new actors to its cast.

They include Gbemisola Ikumelo (Black operations, A league of their own), Alex Edelmann (Just for us, Not frosted), Tim key (The Witch Hunter, This time with Alan Partridge) AND Eric Rahill (Friendship, The bear).

Ikumelo, Edelman and Rahill are also the writers of the as-yet-untitled mockumentary, set in the same universe as Daniels’ NBC hit. The Office. Details regarding the characters are under wraps.

They join previously announced stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei AND Ramona Young.

In the new comedy series, the documentary crew that captured Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch is looking for a new topic when they discover a historic Midwest newspaper facing extinction and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer journalists.

Sounds promising. I like that they are exploring new characters and a new setting with the premise of exploring a different workplace. It’s not just a retelling, but an original version, with a very funny and talented cast and crew involved. I can’t wait to see what they do with it.
