Rachel McAdams is in talks to star Sam Raimiis the next horror thriller Send helpproduced by 20th Century Studios. The two had worked together before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The film is described as “a two-sided horror thriller, set on an island, halfway between one and the other Rob Reiner’S Stephen King adaptation Misery AND Roberto Zemeckis’classic Thrown away.”
Send help is based on an original screenplay by Baywatch scribes Damian Shannon AND Mark Swift. Zainab Azizi will also produce under the Raimi Productions banner, and the film is expected to be released theatrically.
Raimi’s last directing gig was Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessand it looks like he will return to Marvel Studios to direct Doctor Strange 3.
