THE WITCHER: SIREN OF THE DEEP – Clip Offers New Look at Animated Film

Netflix has a clip from the upcoming animated film The Witcher: Sirens of the DeepThe film is based on Sorcerer author by Andrzej Sapkowskishort story “A Small Sacrifice” and follows Geralt of Rivia as he is hired to investigate a series of attacks. There’s a great teaser trailer you can watch below.

In the story, “Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter, is hired to investigate a series of attacks on a coastal village and finds himself drawn into an age-old conflict between humans and mermaids. He must rely on friends, old and new, to solve the mystery before hostilities between the two kingdoms escalate into all-out war.”

Mr. Dougthe iconic voice of The Witcher video games, returns to voice Geralt of Rivia. He will be joined by Joey Batey AND Anya Chalotra who return from the live-action series of The Witcher to voice Jaskier and Yennefer respectively with Cristina Scricciolo joins the cast to voice Essi Daven.

Cockle previously said of the film: “I’m really excited to announce my return to the world of The Witcher, voicing Geralt of Rivia once again, but this time in the upcoming animated film The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep.

“It has been an honor to work with Studio Mir and Netflix on this new animated film, and I am thrilled to be able to share this next chapter of the White Wolf’s journey with fans of The Witcher universe. Mire taedh aen stráede!”

The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep It is expected to be released globally in late 2024. The renowned MIR studio (The Legend of Korra and Netflix Voltron: Legendary Defender) is producing the animation for the film.

Featuring the voices of Doug Cockle and Joey Batey as Geralt and Jaskier. The animated film will hit Netflix on February 11, 2025.
