Ana de Armas he recently spoke about his future John Wick spin-off movie, Ballerinawhich is scheduled for release in theaters next summer.
During an interview with Collider, he talked about the film’s reshoots and teased the first trailer, which should be out soon.
The film was originally supposed to be released last summer, but was pushed back a year to film additional action sequences with the John Wick director. Chad Stahelski.
De Armas spoke about that shoot, saying, “Everything we did on that shoot had to be there. We got some incredible footage. It’s really spectacular. They told me there’s a trailer coming out soon. I’ve seen it and it’s beautiful.
“I’m very proud of it. It’s really exciting. It’s dangerous, it’s sexy, it’s very John Wick. I think people will be surprised. I’m biased. Sure, I like the movie, but I think it’s really good. It’s going to be awesome.”
When the reshoots were first announced, the actor Ian McShanewho returns to play Winston for Ballerinathey said they shot completely new scenes for the film to help Ballerina be more in line with the larger John Wick franchise.
Italian: explained: “It’s not about repeated takes, but about new takes. They’re shooting for Ballerinawhich is the Ana de Armas spin-off of the John Wick franchise. You know, it’s like they have to protect the franchise.
“And of course I did, when was that? We did it about a year ago, we did the movie Ballerina and they watched it, and Chad, the guy who directed all the John Wick movies, comes in and they want to improve it.
“Because they have to protect him. Because Keanu is in it, and it takes place between John Wick 3 and John Wick 4.”
The film is set between John Wick 3 AND John Wick 4and the story centers on a young assassin who seeks revenge against the people who killed her family.
I saw some scenes from the movie and from what I saw, it looked really awesome!
