Stephen King’s SALEM’S LOT First Trailer Unleashes Vampire Terror!

The first trailer for the new film adaptation of Stephen King’S Salam’s Lot It’s finally out and it’s unleashing awesome vampire terror!

This is a horror movie that I was extremely excited to watch! For some reason Warner Bros. has held it back for over two years and isn’t releasing it in theaters, which is a shame because it looks so damn good!

At least they didn’t scrap it, which might have happened if Stephen King had been open about how much he loved the film. Director by Gary Dauberman is grateful to King for his support and said it helped the studio make the decision to push its release forward.

Well, the trailer is now out and you can see what this movie has in store for us!

Lewis Pullman (Bad Times at the El Royale, Top Gun: The Legend Continues) stars in Salem’s Lotand will take on the role of author Ben Mears”a man who returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book, only to discover that his hometown is overrun by a vampire, prompting him to join a diverse group to fight the evil presence.”

When previously it was spoken of by Gary Dauberman-directed by Pullman, said: “It’s a scary thing to do these remakes, man. It’s like, this and [Top Gun: Maverick]There’s so much pressure that it’s hard to figure out a trick to make it work.

“But Gary Dauberman, the director, is really keen to do the book justice. But even the previous adaptation was in two parts, because it’s such a big book and there are so many moving parts and so many characters.

“So there are some parts where Gary had to push and find what was really at the heart of the movie to keep, but for the most part, he’s really faithful to the book and keeps a lot of the original dialogue. He’s a Stephen King sleuth, so he doesn’t want to hurt Stephen.”

He added: “So I think it’s in good hands, Gary is a really smart guy who has a keen eye for things. I think it’s not just about the jump scares, but the more conceptual and visual things that, rather than a shock that fades from your body in the next five minutes, something more visual, like a fingerprint that’s burned into your retinas like a haunting image that will wake you up in the middle of the night and you can’t get it out of your head.”

King was impressed with the film after seeing it, and his support helped get it released. He previously said, “Between you and me, Twitter, I’ve seen the new SALEM’S LOT and it’s pretty good. Old school horror film: slow build, big payoff.”

King had already spoken about the film several months ago, saying: “It feels like a horror version of slow-burn movies like THE GREAT ESCAPE. It develops very well.

“There are some deviations from the book that I disagree with, but overall, faithful. Best scene: Danny Glick in the hospital, trying to rip open a blood bag. Glick’s scene could have been directed by John Carpenter in his prime.”

Salem’s Lot will be released on October 3rd.
