Prime Video has released the final trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2, which previews an epic war against Sauron as he rises to power in Middle-earth.
I am very excited for this next season and it looks like this next chapter will deliver a thrilling, intense and massive story! I like what I have seen so far and I think season 2 will once again deliver a story that fans will love.
The series is set “thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’S The Hobbit AND The Lord of the Ringsand will take viewers back to a time when great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the thinnest thread, and the greatest villain Tolkien had ever created threatened to plunge the entire world into darkness.
“Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows a cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared resurgence of evil in Middle-earth.
“From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of the Elven capital of Lindon, to the extraordinary island kingdom of Númenor, to the farthest corners of the map, these kingdoms and characters will leave a legacy that will live on long after they are gone.”
In season two, Sauron has returned. Cast out by Galadriel, without an army or allies, the rising Dark Lord must now rely on his own cunning to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will allow him to bind all the peoples of Middle-earth to his sinister will.

The Rings of Power Season 2 will debut on Prime Video on August 29.
