Rosary Dawson (Assoka), Alessandra Shipp (Anyone but you), AND Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil) star together in a new action thriller titled Midnight.
The film has just completed production under the direction of first-time director Mr. Otis Miller and writers Lamont Magee AND My Friend Jeff Byrd.
Midnight follows “a young blind woman (Shipp) hunted by a group of international criminals (led by Jovovich) searching for a package they believe was delivered to the woman by her federal agent sister (Dawson).
“However, the attackers soon realize that the woman, although she cannot see, could be much more dangerous than expected.”
Dawson said in a statement: “Without giving too much away, Midnight It’s a fantastic action movie, about duty and sacrifice.
“It’s about coming inside yourself and embracing your independence, but ultimately it’s a film about family and that’s what really resonated with me. I’m so excited to be a part of such an incredible project with this amazing cast and crew.”
Levine and Beckerman added: “Collaborating with Rosario on this film has been an incredible experience. She is an incredibly talented actress and we couldn’t be more impressed with her creative process as a producer.
“Dawson, along with Alexandra Shipp and Milla Jovovich, deliver fantastic, action-packed performances, and we can’t wait for audiences to see ‘Midnight.’”
The film is produced by Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckerman of Yale Productions in association with Dawson, Leah Elizabeth Rucinski, Timothy Christian and Rab Butler of Night Fox Entertainment. Other producers include David Gere, Chelsea Vale and Beth Bryant. Michael Day served as co-producer.
