This weekend, Marvel Deadpool and Wolverine has joined the club of billion-dollar box office winners worldwide!
We all knew this was coming, but it’s nice to see it actually happen. This milestone is a remarkable feat for Marvel Studios’ first R-rated film.
After grossing $495 million in the United States and $535 million in international markets, the film directed by Shawn Levy has grossed $1.03 billion worldwide.
The film will be released in a few days Joker$1.06 billion, becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.
This also does Deadpool and Wolverine the second highest-grossing film of 2024 after Disney Inside Out 2and is the first MCU film to reach $1 billion since Spider-Man: No Way Home has been released.
Deadpool and Wolverine has given Marvel a new lease on life. Hopefully they can keep him out by creating more quality content. Plus, with this kind of money rolling around, you can bet your ass we’ll see Deadpool back in action.
