Trailer for the double action films ART OF EIGHT LIMBS and THE LOCKDOWN

Paramount has released two trailers for an upcoming double-release action film from Tiger Style Media. These films are Art of the Eight Limbs AND The confinement.

They are trying to launch “an explosive new era of martial arts cinema.” Each of these films boasts real stunts and fights conducted by the stars… no stuntmen!

Art of the Eight Limbs:

“In this action-packed thriller from a producer of Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, Ludi Lin (Mortal Kombat, Power Rangers) plays a CIA data analyst and part-time kickboxer.

“Sent on a mission to Myanmar, he must infiltrate a martial arts tournament that serves as a front for an arms dealer auctioning off VX nerve gas. His objective: deliver a critical detection device to the allies.

“However, as the mission spirals out of control, he is forced to face the world’s most ruthless fighters, representing the last line of defense against a global threat looming over the world.”

The film was directed by Robert Grasmere and also recites Grace Vorananth, Sahajak Boonthanakit, Pansring Arm of VithayaAND Nicholas Hammond.

The confinement:

“In this action-packed thriller from a producer of Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, Caity Lotz (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Flash) AND Leo Howard (Kickin’ It, GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra) play brothers Charlie and Jack, trapped in Myanmar’s toughest prison and accused of a crime they didn’t commit.

“Forced into televised fights, where inmates fight for a chance to escape death row, they face the deadliest opponents, where every encounter could be their last.

“Charlie and Jack must work together, their bond will be tested in a high-stakes game where only the strongest can win.”

The film was directed by Ryan Jaeger and also stars Michael Biehn AND The Almighty Ping Tang.

The films will be released in select theaters on August 16, 2024. They will then be available for purchase digitally on August 27, 2024.

Two more films will follow, titled Mrs. Socrpion AND Kung Fu GamesWe’ll talk more about it when the trailers come out.
