19-year-old Anastasia found herself in the hands of scammers. The girl found the fake channel of Oksana Samoilova in Telegram. The reason for subscribing to Dzhigan’s alleged wife was an announcement about earning money on mining equipment.
The girl realized that the scheme is quite simple: the more you invest, the more you earn. Anastasia first transferred 90 thousand rubles to scammers, then tried another 50 thousand rubles, but the bank blocked the transaction. At that moment she did not panic that the interlocutor was not Oksana Samoilova, but an unknown man.
When the attacker realized that the second part of the money had not arrived, he gave a new card number. Anastasia, without hesitation, transferred another 60 thousand rubles and asked for a report. But the fraudster stopped responding and deleted the correspondence. The victim contacted the police.
Why did the girl trust a stranger? According to the Regnum news agency, after the offer to earn money, the potential victim was sent a video with a fake passport of Oksana Samoilova and the model’s voice generated by artificial intelligence, which gives a guarantee. Similar fake accounts are registered in the names of other celebrities.
