I want to explore the new TCG in town, ELESTRALS

I really enjoy playing collectible card games. I have played a lot of them throughout my life and recently I wanted to try something new. I have heard rumors about a newer one called Estrali and after a short conversation, they were kind enough to send me a little care package. Inside the package were two starter decks, two booster boxes, and even some extra bulk/blister packs. I want to share a huge thank you to Estrali team for all the goodies.

The problem is that I’m completely new to EstraliI wanted to pace myself with these goodies. Below is a video of me opening the box and the starter decks, but I’m saving the boosters. One features a dragon-like creature called Kryoscorch with the powers of fire and frost fueling it. The other focuses on Emperowatt, a penguin creature of frost and lightning, and I love it. Basically, my plan is to learn the game a bit with these starter decks so I can feel more educated about the cards in the booster packs. Before I get to that point, though, I’ll share a few things that caught my eye. Estrali.

First, I like the art. It looks fun and vibrant. I also really appreciate that they credit the artists on the cards. This is something I feel should be standardized in every trading card game. Second, the gameplay I saw looked familiar with little touches that made it more unique. Lastly, after opening the starter decks, I found that each one comes with a rulebook (standard in many games), three booster packs (some other games do similar things), a d20 spin down die (nice), and a 1 card reference sheet (I’ve never seen this before). That last one is so awesome to have for a new player!
