Legendary cartoonist Alex Red has released the first trailer for a new documentary film titled The Legend of Kingdom Come.
The film will chronicle the making of Ross’s masterpiece, originally published in 1996 by DC Comics. The art created for this comic book series was stunning and the writing and story were strong.
The film will offer an insight into the innovative process the creative team went through to develop Kingdom that comeswith writer Mark Waid.
The film will include interviews with Waid and Ross talking about working on the project, as well as other comics luminaries discussing why the series was and remains so important, including Paul Dini, Todd McFarlaneAND Amanda Conner.
The documentary was directed by Remsy Atassi and produced by Matching Salt. It will be released in the fall of 2024.
