Pixar President Pete Docter appeared at Disney’s D23 Expo and announced that they are officially developing Incredibles 3 and that Brad Bird will return to direct.
No further details were shared, but as a huge fan of the first two Incredibles films, I’m excited to be getting an entirely new story featuring these amazing characters.
I imagine the original cast will return to reprise their roles by Craig T. Nelson like Bob, Holly Hunter like Elena, Mr. Huck Milner like Dash, and Sarah Vowell like Violet.
The first two Incredible the films grossed $1.87 billion. At one point, Incredibles 2 It was the highest-grossing animated film of all time before Inside Out 2 It brought it down with a loss of $1.56 billion.
