Patricia Taylor is preparing his Yellow stone spin-off series, which had previously been announced as Yellowstone: 2024This is the project that would be set after the events of Yellow stone flagship series that concludes with the fifth season.
The project is currently ongoing under the new title of The Madisonand the producers are in talks with Michelle Pfeiffer, My First Encounter with Kurt RussellAND Clothes star Patrick J. Adams to star in the series.
According to TV Line, The Madison is said to “follow wealthy matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family as they leave New York City and head to Montana following the tragic deaths of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash.”
The ensemble cast is still being finalized, but other CST members may also be included. Handsome Garrett (The Good Doctor, Firefly Lane).
Matthew McConaughey was supposed to star in the series alongside the original cast members Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser AND Luke Grimes reprising their roles as Beth Dutton, Rip Wheeler and Kayce Dutton.
We don’t know if Russell will play the role that McConaughey was originally supposed to play or if he’ll play a completely new one. We also don’t know if any of the other actors in Yellow stone will be involved.
The spinoff is expected to begin production later this month in Montana, New York, and Texas. It is slated to premiere in 2025, following the conclusion of the parent series’ Season 5B, which premieres on November 10.
