Jamie Lee Curtis Calls Marvel’s Current Phase ‘Bad’, Then Apologizes ‘I’ll Do Better’

My Friend Jamie Lee Curtis He recently made a comment about the current state of Marvel, calling it “bad,” and now he regrets it and has offered an apology.

During a previous interview with MTV, Curtis was asked what stage Marvel was in, and the actress simply replied “bad.” I saw this as a hilarious and witty response and something that many Marvel fans would have agreed with before the release of Deadpool and Wolverine.

Well, the actress has now apologized for calling Marvel’s current phase “bad,” calling the comment “stupid” and saying she even reached out Kevin Feige apologize personally.

He also said he would no longer make “mud” and would not do anything that was “designed for clicks and not content.”

His full apology reads: “My comments about Marvel were stupid and I will do better. I have reached out to Kevin Feige and will no longer play in the competitive mud sandbox we call the Internet, nor will I engage in toilet paper promotion or a game designed for clicks, not content or conversation.”

I’ve never even posted on the “Bad” comment. The only reason I’m posting this is because it’s funny that she’s apologizing for something that didn’t need to be apologized for.

Who cares if he called the current state of Marvel terrible! The studio has gone through a phase of producing terrible content! That’s the truth, and it’s fair to call them out on it.

Hollywood is a strange place. In an industry with so much to apologize for, apologizing for calling Marvel’s current state “bad” is just plain stupid. But maybe Curtis wants in on the Marvel action and this is his way of making things right.

My name is Ryan Reynolds. he even responded amusingly to the apology, saying, “Wait, everyone is expected to apologize for criticizing Marvel after Endgame?”

I don’t know, but this isn’t the first time Curtis has spoken out against Marvel. He had previously called into question Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessand said he was copying the success of 2022 Everything, everywhere, all at once.

He later said that he had “nothing against Marvel as an entity. I’ve seen a lot of Marvel movies. What I was talking about was that Everything Everywhere All at Once was a little movie that could… and [we] they managed to tell a multiverse story that really touched people.

“What I was trying to talk about is that it doesn’t have to be a Marvel movie to be a spectacle and to be truly emotional.”

What do you think of Curtis’ comments about Marvel and his apology?
