Showtime announced at Comic-Con recently that a new Right A spin-off series titled Dexter: Resurrection AND Michael C. Hallwill reprise his role as Dexter Morgan.
This series is in addition to the upcoming prequel series, Dexter: Original Sinset in the 90s, with Hall as the narrator of the series.
Dexter: Resurrection is set in the present day and is the sequel to 2021’s Dexter: New Blood. The plan is to launch the series in summer 2025.
There isn’t much more information to share about the series or details on how Dexter will return, considering what happened to him at the end of Dexter: New Blood.
In the New Blood finale, Dexter is seemingly murdered by his adult son Harrison (Jack Alcott). With a title like Resurrection, it seems like Dexter may still be alive.
But the other option is that he will appear to his son in the same way his father appeared to him as a mental manifestation throughout the original series.
I’m curious to know how this show will end.
