Tony Award nominee also in talks Sarah Pigeon (Little beautiful things), from Atlanta Tyriq is pining away AND Jonah Hauer-Kingwho played Prince Eric in Disney’s live-action remake The little Mermaid.
It was previously reported that Jennifer Love-Hewitt AND Freddie Prinze Jr. were in talks to reprise their roles from the original film.
Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Vendetta) is directing the new project from a script he co-wrote with My Friend Sam Lansky after an initial script from Leah McKendrickNeal Moritz, one of the producers of the original, is producing the reboot.
Sony is scheduled to release the film on July 18, 2025.
