Fans are so excited that Marvel is tackling Fantastic Four in what we hope will be the best big screen iteration yet.
The incredible cast includes Peter Pascal (The Last of Us) like Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible – Discovery of Death) as Sue Storm, known as the Invisible Woman; Joseph Quinn (Stranger things) like Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch; and Ebony moss – Bachrach (The Punisher, The Bear) as Ben Grimm, aka the Thing. Paul Walter Houser, Natasha LyonAND John Malkovic they were chosen for the project in unknown roles, Ralph Ineson will play the evil Galactus, and Julia Garner (Ozark, Inventing Anna) will play the role of Shalla-Bal, the incarnation of the Silver Surfer.
The film is built on this strong cast, which the president of Marvel Kevin Feige highlighted in a recent interview with CinemaBlend.
When asked about Fantastic FourFeige spoke with the director Matt Shakmanthe talent for visual effects, before emphasizing the core of the story: “Matt Shakman is very, very good at visual effects. The most important thing for us… the stretching has to look cool, the rocky exterior of the Thing has to look cool, the flames have to look cool.
“[But] It’s all about the characters. It’s all about the family. It’s all about the [those] dynamics. So by the time we had the cast that we announced, 90 percent of the work was done. That’s what the movie is all about.”
It looks like they’re on the right track, especially with this amazing cast. With the film set to start filming later this month, it’s unlikely we’ll see any footage this week at Comic-Con, but we might hear some new details!
The fantastic Four will hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
