Last week LEGO revealed its new Jaws-themed LEGO kit. It is based on the scene where the killer white shark attacks the Orca in the open sea while it is being hunted by Brody, Hooper and Quint.
They have since released a 90-second LEGO remake of Jaws which is really fun to watch!
This set is based on an idea submitted by a fan to LEGO Ideas, and the 1,497-piece kit includes a detailed Orca model, Brody, Hooper and Quint minifigures, and a brick-built shark named Bruce in attack mode.
The LEGO Jaws set was designed by LEGO fan Johnny Campbell, who spoke about the project saying: “JAWS is my all-time favorite movie, so I really wanted to recreate it in LEGO bricks.
“LEGO building has always been a part of my life in one form or another, but to capture all the finer details, I froze the image of JAWS while I was watching it, so I could capture the finer details and take notes as I went.
“It’s just amazing that my project is now an official LEGO set. I can’t wait to walk into a LEGO store and look at the shelves, see a set I’ve been involved in and see someone buy it. It’s every LEGO fan’s dream!”
The LEGO set will be released on August 6, 2024. If you want one, it will cost you $149.99.
