Hollywood really loves shark movies! There have been a lot of shark thrillers released in recent years and we have a trailer for a new one to share with you, titled The Last Breath.
The film follows a group of college friends who embark on a dive of a lifetime. However, their adventure quickly turns into a nightmare when they become trapped in the darkness of a wreck and there are sharks.
The synopsis reads: “Finding the long-lost wreck of the battleship USS Charlotte has been the quest of a lifetime for Levi (Julian Sands), an elderly expat who runs a tourist dive business in the British Virgin Islands with recent college student Noah (Jack Parr).
“When the USS Charlotte surfaces for the first time in eighty years after a tropical storm, Noah’s friends visiting the island insist that they all make a once-in-a-lifetime dive to the newly discovered wreck before it is turned over to the authorities.
“The dream dive quickly turns into a nightmare when they become trapped in the darkness of the Charlotte’s interior, 100 feet below the surface with their air supply dwindling. And then they discover they are not alone.”
The film was directed by Joachim Heden (Surface break) and its stars Kim Spearman (How are they), Jack Parr (Peaky Blinders), Alexander Arnold (Yesterday), Erin Mullen (Midsomer Murders), Arlo Carter (Dr. Martin), AND Julian Sands (A room with a view).
The Last Breath will be in theaters and on demand on July 26, 2024.
