The villain of DEADPOOL and WOLVERINE is a mix between Gene Wilder’s Willy Wonka and Christoph Waltz’s Colonel Hans Landa

He looks like the main villain in Deadpool and WolverineCassandra Nova, it will be really fun and enjoyable! The character is played by Emma Corrinand we don’t have much of the character in the footage that was shared yet.

Corrin’s supervillain Scrumdiddlyumptious is inspired by by Gene Wilder Willy Wonka and by Christoph Waltz Colonel Hans Landa, from by Quentin Tarantino Inglourious Basterds.

Speaking about the character as Wonka, Corrin said, “They wanted him to be unpredictable.” Of Lada, the actor said, “He’s so disarmingly polite and kind and spontaneous, and it’s really creepy. It’s even more sinister because he doesn’t have to do anything.”

Corrin talked about how the director by Shawn Levi AND My name is Ryan Reynolds. introduced the character, saying: “Ryan and [director Shawn Levy] he launched this idea, which I totally agreed with.”

The idea was, “We want this villain not to be a villain in the way you expect her to be. We want you to be so fond of her, so fascinated by her, and just when you think maybe she’s seen all the way through your soul and you’re going to be best friends for life, you’re dead.”

Corrin has previously spoken about the character, explaining: “Because he’s wearing that uniform, it says everything you need to know. He can sit at the table and have a conversation like we’re doing now, be animated, very personable.

“It’s so unnerving because he’s the most evil person on the planet, the worst person on the planet. He’s the opposite of a scary villain; he lets his physicality do the talking, and then he flips the other parts.”

Reynolds also spoke about working with Corrin on the film: “It was like working with a leather-covered Swiss Army knife. Emma brought a Gene Wilder energy. Deadpool and Wolverine.

“Maleficence, danger, unpredictability: from the first scene onwards, we understand the villain well enough to understand why he is driven to oppose our heroes.

“And that’s because Emma is like that [frick]ing excels at humanizing even the most chaotic jokes. The only thing we love more than hating a villain is loving them. And we love Emma’s Cassandra Nova from the very first moment.”

In the comics, Nova is Charles Xavier’s evil twin sister, or more precisely, an alien parasite who appeared to Xavier in the womb and transformed into his polar opposite. Nova is attacked by Charles Xavier in the womb, only to survive in order to get revenge on him.

She hid in her brother’s body for years before replicating his DNA blueprint to gain a body of her own. She is a ferocious mutant and her goal is to use her insane powers to wipe them all out. At one point, she was responsible for the deaths of 16 million mutants through the destruction of Genosha.

It will be interesting to see this character in action.
