A new photo and video have emerged from the set of James Gunn’S Supermanand these offer a first look Davide Corenswet as Clark Kent. We’ve already seen the actor as Superman, and as you’ll see, he sports a very different look than Clark.
This new version of Clark has a messy mop of curly hair, which is the style a lot of teenagers are sporting these days. I imagine this hairstyle gives Clark a better disguise since it covers a lot of his forehead.
I wasn’t expecting this kind of look, but it works! What intrigues me the most is how Corenswet will completely change his physicality from Superman to Clark Kent, something Christopher Reeve was a master at.
So far, no actor has been able to effectively pull off what Reeve did when he switched between Superman and Clark.
Superman will tell the story of “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way of life, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as antiquated.”
Superman even stars Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane; Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor; Nathan’s son as Green Lantern; Isabella Mercede like Hawkgirl; Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mr. Terrific; Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen; María Gabriela de Faría like Angela Spica, known as The Engineer; Sarah Sampaiolike Eve Teschmacher; and Terence Rosemore like Otis.
Superman will launch the theatrical portion of DC Studios’ Gods and Monsters: Part 1. It is scheduled for release on July 11, 2025.
