Giancarlo Esposito continues to tease audiences with his “badass” MCU character in CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD

Giancarlo Esposito continues to talk and tease the MCU character he plays in the next Marvel film Captain America: Brave New World.

While Esposito hasn’t revealed who exactly he’ll be playing, there are photos and videos from the set that show the actor in full costume and all decked out in tactical gear.

Esposito previously described his character as an “antagonistic agent of chaos,” and in the film he’s on some sort of mission. It could be that he’s hunting down Sam Wilson.

The actor expresses his excitement and shares in an interview with Deadline, “In my other life, I’m a real badass, and you’ve seen me play that part a little bit intellectually as Gus Fring, but when you see me MCU, you’re going to see a badass and I’m excited for that.

“Acting is using every part of your body, your emotions, your senses, your feelings, to portray something. But you haven’t seen me use my body the way I’m going to use it.

“The MCU is exciting; I can’t tell you who I’m playing against, but you’ll be excited when you see it.”

Some fans speculate that he’ll play a comic book villain called Machete, but we’ll find out who he’ll play when the film releases on February 14, 2025.

In the movie, Anthony Mackie he returned to the role of Sam Wilson, who is now Captain America. The film is also the protagonist Liv Tyler, Shira Haas, Tim Blake Nelson, Rosa Salazar, Danny RamirezAND Carl Lumbly.

Giulio Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) will direct the film from a screenplay written by Dalan Musson AND Malcolm Spellmanboth of whom they wrote for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Spellman will produce with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
