Idris Elba AND Rebecca Ferguson are looking to join the next film project from Kathryn Bigelow (The Wounded Locker, Zero Dark Thirty), which is set to Netflix.
There aren’t many details about this project, but it will be “set in the White House as a national crisis unfolds.” Beyond that, we have no idea what to expect, but I’m curious to see what Bigelow has planned.
This will be Bigelow’s first film project since the 2017 police brutality film Detroitproduced and distributed by Annapurna Pictures.
Bigelow was already developing another project for Netflix, but it never got off the ground. That film was an adaptation of the novel Aurora from David Koepp.
Regardless of what this project ends up being, Elba and Ferguson are talented actors and will work great together!
