Even though comic book movies have seen a decline in recent years, we all know when the next Marvel movie is coming out Deadpool and Wolverine will be released, it will be a huge record-breaking success.
The movie won’t solve all of Marvl’s problems, but fans are really excited to see Deadpool and Wolverine team up for a crazy adventure in the MCU.
We’ve learned that the film is currently forecasting a $200 million-plus opening weekend, which is huge! Specifically, the Marvel film is expected to earn between $200 million and $239 million with its weekend debut alone.
This news comes from Deadline, which notes that The Quorum lists this box office projection as “conservative,” meaning the tracking system believes the film could even top $239 million.
The current record holder for an R-rated opening at the domestic box office is first Dead Pool film, which grossed $132.4 million. AS, Deadpool and Wolveirne it will blow him out of the water.
Marvel Studios presents their most significant blunder to date – “Deadpool and Wolverine. A listless Wade Wilson struggles in civilian life.
“His days as a morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, are behind him. When his home planet faces an existential threat, Wade must, reluctantly, suit up again as an even more reluctant… reluctant? More reluctant?
“He has to convince a reluctant Wolverine to – Fu-k. The synopses are so damn stupid.
The existential threat in the film is Cassandra Nova, the evil twin sister of Professor Charles Xavier of the X-Men who poses a threat to the multiverse.
This whole story will lead Deadpool to change the history of the MCU as he and Wolverine leap across the multiverse in a crazy adventure.
Shawn Levy is directing the film and also includes the film’s confirmed cast Emma Corrin in the role of Cassandra Nova, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic like Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen as a TVA agent e Leslie Uggam in the role of blind Al.
They are united by Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsuna, who will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Warhead and Negasonic Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio. This had already been confirmed Jennifer Garner she will return as Elektra in the film.
Deadpool and Wolverine hits theaters July 26th!
