THE THING: REMASTERED video game trailer revealed

Video game remastering studio Nightdive Studios announced The bottom line: remasteredwhich will be a faithful restoration of the 2002 third-person survival horror game that inspired it By John Carpenter classic film from 1982, The thing.

Nightdive Studios has updated the game for the modern era using its proprietary KEX engine to play on current generation gaming devices. Updates include improvements to character models, textures and animations.

We will use advanced 3D rendering that provides updated lighting and atmospheric effects, delivering a “suspenseful and sickeningly detailed remaster” suitable for modern audiences.

The bottom line: remastered lists the following main features:

• Who’s Going?: Command a squad of up to four NPCs from the Soldier, Medic, and Engineer classes through the game’s 11 fearsome levels

• The hottest place to hide: Someone on your team may not be who they seem. The shapeshifting alien is hiding inside an imitation, so keep your eyes alert.
