Lucasfilm has released five new character posters Star Wars: The Acolyte featuring the series’ main characters, and each includes additional character details.
Characters in the posters include Mae (Amanda Steinberg), Jedi Master Sol (Lee Jung Jae), Jedi Jecki Lon (Dafne Keen), Wookie Jedi Master Kelnacca (Joonas Suotamo) and Jedi Master Indara (Carrie-Anne Moss).
The Acolyte is described as “a mystery thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of dark secrets and emerging dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.” The High Republic is set 100 years before the start of the Skywalker Saga.
Steinberg plays a former Padawan and a dangerous warrior who is hunting and killing Jedi. In the story, “An investigation into a shocking crime wave pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Stenberg).
“As new clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal that all is not what it seems…”
The series comes from the showrunner Leslye Promontory and will consist of eight episodes. The premiere is scheduled for June 4, 2024 on Disney+.
