Netflix has released a trailer for a Brazilian sci-fi cyberpunk film titled Bionicset in the year 2035, a time when robotic prosthetics redefine sports.
The film is described as a futuristic dystopian thriller: “The world has been transformed by technology and two sisters (played by Jéssica Córes AND Gabz) vie for long jump stardom in a future where bionic enhancements dominate the world of sport. But this rivalry leads them down a sinister path.”
The film is directed by Afonso Poyartand Netflix says it will feature “innovative visual effects.”
Movie stars Jessica Cores, Gabz, Bruno Gagliasso, Cristiano Malheiros, Paolo Vilhena, Danton MelloAND Klebber Toledo.
Netflix will release Bionic on May 29, 2024.
