Mark Ruffalo will star with Chris Hemsworth in the film adaptation of CRIME 101

Marco Ruffalo is in talks to star alongside his Marvel co-star Chris Hemsworth in Amazon MGM Studios’ adaptation of Don Winslow’s short story Crime 101.

This story is said to have “undertones of heat” as it follows “high-level jewelry thefts occurring up and down the Pacific Coast, which police have linked to Colombian cartels. Detective Lou Lubesnick has other ideas and focuses on one culprit, a thief looking for a final score.

The film will be written and directed by Bart Layton with contributions from Peter Straughan.

It sounds like an interesting film project, but I think most audiences will be excited to see Ruffalo and Hemsworth team up for a new film outside of Marvel.

Pedro Pascal was linked to the project last year to star opposite Hemsworth, but it didn’t move forward while he was on board.

Ruffalo is currently filming the HBO limited series Task from Easttown Mare Creator Brad Ingelsby. We’ll see it soon Bong Joon Ho’S Mickey Mouse 17 opposite to Robert Pattinson It’s inside Cooper Raifthe series of Hal and Harper.
