Lionsgate has revealed a trailer for the upcoming techno-sci-fi horror thriller titled Latency. The film comes from the writer and director James Crokewho is making his directorial debut.
In the movie, “When Hana (Sasha Luss), a professional gamer suffering from acute agoraphobia, asked to try out sophisticated new gaming equipment that uses artificial intelligence to interpret her brain’s electrical activity, she sees an opportunity to improve her game.
“Like Hana and her best friend Jen (Alexis Ren) experiences this new technology, the lines between reality and Hana’s subconscious quickly begin to blur, and she begins to wonder whether the device is helping her or serving a more sinister force.”
It actually looks like a good movie and will be released in select US theaters on June 14, 2024.
