vin Diesel shared a new video on Instagram from the set of Fast and Furious 11the final film of Fast & Furious franchising. In the video, he reveals Paul WalkerThe iconic car from the original The Fast and the Furious the film will be back for another go around.
In the 2001 film, Walker’s Brian O’Conner drove around in an orange Toyota Supra that he had fixed up with Dominic Toretto’s crew. Like many other fans, when I first saw that car… I wanted it!
Seeing the car return for the final film in the series is a punch in the face of nostalgia, and it will be a lot of fun to see it in action again after all these years.
Diesel says in the video: “Another incredible day of filming. For all of you who really know the Fast & Furious franchise, you can only imagine what this car conjured up…
“That was the first car I encountered in this franchise, and needless to say, it holds a special place in my heart. Everyone always loves.”
Universal Pictures took over Christina Hodson (The Flash, Bumblebee) AND Oren Uziel (The Lost City, 22 Jump Street) to co-write the screenplay. This too had already been confirmed X fast director Louis Leterrier he’s returning to directing.
I hope the creative team behind this franchise ends it on a high note and actually tells a decent story this time.
