Elizabeth Banks AND John C. Reilly will be the protagonists of a new sci-fi psychological thriller entitled DreamQuilwhich was recently acquired by Republic Pictures.
The film is set in the not-so-distant future and the story follows Carol (Banks), “a dissatisfied career mother, struggling to find true connection within her marriage to Gary (Reilly) and her son.
“Worried that she might be heading for divorce, Carol jumps at the opportunity to get her life back on track by enrolling in DreamQuil’s unconventional digital wellness retreat.
“However, things take a sinister turn after Carol returns home, and the story has been described as a cautionary tale about what happens when artificial intelligence and automation are integrated into our daily lives.”
The film is directed by Alex Prager, who is making his directorial debut. The film is currently filming in Los Angeles.
