Some new details about the story have emerged Deadpool and Wolverine revealing some very interesting and slightly spoilery details.
Kevin Feige recently shared that the stakes in this film’s story “are universe-sized,” and this new synopsis teases what that means.
The following details have been shared on Zazzle.com with its wide range of hookup products. The story breakdown reads:
“Not only will it [Deadpool and Wolverine] are working to defeat a slew of villains plaguing the Marvel Universe, man, but they’ll also be busting the gates of the MCU franchise and putting their R-rated, 20th Century Fox-style spin on some of our favorite Phases 1 moments -4!”
This is actually something that was teased in the trailer that was released. At one point we see Deadpool involved in the attack on the HYDRA research base Avengers: Age of Ultron. So, that will be one of many moments in the MCU where Deadpool freezes.
If that’s the case, there’s a very good chance we’ll see some of the original Avengers cast members return and possibly interact with Deadpool, which will be fun to see!
Now, filmmakers could just reuse older footage, but I don’t think that will be the case. If Marvel does this, they’ll go through with it!

Shawn Levy is directing the film and the film’s confirmed cast includes Emma Corrin in the role of Cassandra Nova, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic like Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen as a TVA agent e Leslie Uggam in the role of blind Al.
They are united by Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsuna, who will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Warhead and Negasonic Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio. This had already been confirmed Jennifer Garner she will return as Elektra in the film.
