It’s been almost a year since then Kevin Spacey has been found not guilty of sex crimes, but Channel 4 and Max will release a new investigative docuseries titled Spacey unmaskedwhich will contain the testimonies of several men who will talk about their experiences with the actor.
A teaser trailer for the series has been released, which “investigates Spacey’s conduct and speaks to several men unconnected to [last year’s] case about their experiences with Kevin Spacey, almost all of whom have never talked about it before.
It is said that the documentary will “examine a man who was once one of the most admired and respected actors in the world. With never-before-seen interviews and archives, Spacey unmasked highlights his life from childhood to early success on Broadway and subsequent meteoric rise to stardom, before his downfall.
The project has been in the works for two years and was produced by the Oscar nominee Mike Lerner and former head of Channel 4 News Dorothy Byrne.
The two-part documentary will air May 6 and 7. May. It was purchased by Max and ID in the United States following a deal between Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and distributor All3Media International.
