Another EVIL DEAD film in development with writer and director Francis Galluppi

Sam Raimi is producing yet another evil Dead movies and Francesco Galluppi (The last stop in Yuma County) was hired to write and direct the film.

The project is described only as an original story that Galluppi developed and brought to Raimi and his team. The project is set up at Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures Roberto Tapert will produce.

Bruce Campbell he’s not mentioned in the report, but I’m guessing he’s also a producer, as he’s involved in all Evil Dead projects.

Raimi said in a statement: “Francesco Galluppi is a storyteller who knows when to make us wait in simmering tension and when to strike us with explosive violence. He is a director who shows uncommon control in his first feature film.”

This is one of the two evil Dead projects currently under development. The other Evil Dead movie is directed by Sébastien Vanicek (Haunted). Previously she shared her vision for the film and is trying to make something brutal.

The director explained: “I told the studio that I wanted to make a bad film, a film that hurts, from which you come away tested.”

He continued: “I’m going to put in all the horror I have, it’ll be cathartic, and if I haven’t ruined my career and I can continue making films behind it, I’ll move on to something other than horror.” !”

Campbell had previously revealed that the plan for the franchise was to release a new evil Dead films every two or three years. Sam Raimi even developed a franchise bible for future directors to use to star in the film evil Dead sandpit.

Campbell said: “We’ll probably do them more every two or three years, rather than every 10 years. But, hey, we saw with Star Wars: you don’t want to wear people down. Let them guess! We have never worn out our welcome evil Dead because we have never suffocated them.”

I’m excited about the future of evil Dead franchising! I’m excited to see what kind of stories these two new films will tell.
