It has long been said to be original Lama actor Wesley Snipes could return to the role in the current Marvel Cinematic Universe, but since we’ve moved away from the actor’s 1998 film and since they cast the new Blade actor, Mahershala Aliin the role, seemed less and less likely.
But rumors are circulating once again, as the industry’s trusted scooper Daniele Richtmann states that Snipes will reprise his role as Blade in the Multiverse Saga, and has “already signed on to do some stuff there.”
Reports say the most likely project Snipes will appear in would be this summer Deadpool and Wolverinewhich we already know will present a series of variations and surprise guests, or Avengers: Secret Wars – unless the Lama the reboot also includes some Multiverse elements.
We have personally heard that it will be Deadpool and Wolverinebut that’s something we’ll have to wait and see.
