Paramount+ has released the full trailer for Taylor Sheridan’S Mayor of Kingtown Season 3. Presents Jeremy Renner he’s back as Mike McClusky, and he’s back into hardcore crime warfare, and he has no problem beating up people he doesn’t like.
Mayor of Kingtown follows the McLusky family, powerful agents of Kingstown, Michigan, where the prison business is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series offers a raw look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a city that has neither.
In season three, “A series of explosions shock Kingstown and its citizens, as a new face of the Russian mafia sets up shop in town, and a war on drugs rages inside and outside the prison walls.
“The pressure is on Mike McLusky (Renner) to end the war, but things get complicated when a familiar face from his prison past threatens to undermine the mayor’s attempts to keep the peace between all the factions.”
Season 3 comes nearly two years after Renner’s snowplow accident. He’s had a rocky road to recovery, but it looks like he’s ready to come back and kick some ass.
