AMC has revived Anne Rice Interview with the vampire stories from the current series, but fans were first introduced to the characters from that world in the 1994 film of the same name. Due to its favorable reviews, as well as box office receipts, many have wondered why we have never seen a sequel to the film. Christian Slater himself still wonders why this didn’t work.
Speaking to ComicBook first the Spiderwick Chronicles series arriving on Roku on Friday, April 19, Slater — who played Daniel Molloy, the interviewer in the film — revealed that both he and Cruise were surprised the film didn’t get a sequel, especially considering the first film ended with Lestat by Cruise. bite Daniele.
