The apprentice hero Sebastiano Stan it’s already a hot project and filming has only just begun. Variety gave us one of the first images to emerge from this biopic. It shows Stan as a young Trump with his lawyer Roy Cohen played Jeremy Forte. This is what they said about the film:
Ali Abbasi’s feature film – just announced as part of the Cannes 2024 main competition – chronicles Trump’s rise to power through what is described as a “Faustian bargain” with the influential right-wing lawyer and political fixer Roy Cohn (seen in the still image played by Jeremy Strong). As the synopsis states, “’The Apprentice’ is a deep dive into the belly of the American empire.
The film is also the protagonist Maria Bakalova in the role of Ivana Trump. There will be interest in this film when it comes out in theaters. For better or worse, this will stir the pot.
