In a recent interview with ComicBook, Johnny Knoxville he was talking about his next film Sweet dreamsand naturally the conversation moved on Donkey. When asked for more information Donkey movie on the horizon, Knoxville had this to say:
“Uh No, Jackass is like a feeling you get that you have to extinguish by doing another one. I don’t have that feeling right now, but I keep writing down ideas for Jackass just because I can’t help it. If I get an idea, I write it down and email it to myself. So I still write just in case, but I don’t know if there will be enough.”
I think he would be fine with what’s already happened, especially with all the injuries he’s had. Apparently, I’m not the only one concerned about the health and safety of Knoxville. Knoxville’s co-star Steve O he’s worried about Knoxville since his latest serious injury, as he previously stated:
“This last Jackass movie… it was a bit of a disappointment, man. It’s no longer funny to see Knoxville get hit in the head. That day I wrote this message to the entire cast, thanking Knoxville for the sacrifices he made for this team and also imploring him to stop with the brain trauma. It was one of my most serious and sincere messages.”
We’ve all seen the Jackass crew get their lumps, but we rarely think about how truly taxing they are on actors’ bodies. You think something is worth doing for their safety Donkey 5? Let us know what you think.
