The first trailer for the Chinese remake of the ’90s creature feature film has been released Anaconda, and this movie looks insanely brutal! The trailer is full of people being savagely attacked by giant snakes!
In the film, “A group of circus performers, traveling to what they think is a new performance venue, become stranded in a lush rainforest after the boat they were on, and the captain leading the way, are eaten and destroyed by an anaconda. They encounter a deadly poacher hunting the anaconda, who realizes he may now have enough bait to catch it. But being circus performers, they have a few tricks up their sleeves to survive.”
This film comes from the directors Xiang Qui Liang AND Xiang He Shengand as you will see, they wanted to bring the gigantic carnage of the snakes.
There’s actually a new movie in development in Hollywood, but I have no idea where the project currently is.
The 1997 film follows a film crew who are taken hostage by a mad hunter, who forces them on his quest to capture the world’s largest and deadliest snake.
This Anaconda the remake comes from Canno Studio Pictures, Xiang Bros Studios and Sony Pictures Television. There is no word yet on when it will be released in the United States.
