Prime Video Fall the series is something that many fans are excited about. It seems like the creative team behind the movie made a fantastic show, based on the popular video game. It seems to bring that crazy post-apocalyptic world to life perfectly.
One of the most interesting aspects of the series is Walton Goggins’, The Ghoul, a noseless, peeled, irradiated creature who was once human. He is a wildcard character in the series and a sinister bounty hunter.
The Ghoul was previously described as a “horribly scarred knight who has a code of honor, but also a ruthless streak. He is the Good, the Bad and the Ugly rolled into one. The character is a survivor who has existed for hundreds of years, and the series will offer insight into his past with flashbacks to the human he once was, a father and husband named Cooper Howard, before the nuclear holocaust turned the world into ash. and transformed him into an undead, noseless demon.”
Goggins now shares some additional information about his character, explaining: “The Ghoul is, in a way, the poet Virgil in Dante’s Inferno. He is the guide, if you will, through this irradiated hellscape that we find ourselves in in this post-apocalyptic world. He’s a bounty hunter… he’s pragmatic, he’s ruthless, he has his own moral codes and he has a wicked sense of humor. Just like me!”
The series will explore this character before his current state. He will share details about his former life as a man named Cooper Howard. In this regard, Goggins said: “he IS a very, very, very complicated guy, and to understand him, you have to understand the person he was before the war… he was a very different person than the ghoul you have in mind. ” I’ve seen so far. Over the course of the show, through his experience in the world before the nuclear fallout, you will understand what the world was like. And he is the bridge between these two worlds.
Fall it is the story of “the haves and the have-nots” in a world where there is almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle inhabitants of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind – and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully strange and highly violent universe awaiting them ”.
The world of Fall it is “one in which the future imagined by Americans in the late 1940s explodes in on itself through nuclear war in 2077. In Fallout, the harshness of the wasteland is contrasted with the previous generation’s utopian idea of a better world through ‘nuclear energy. It’s serious in tone, but sprinkled with moments of wry humor and B-movie nuclear fantasies.
As for the series, it is set in the future post-apocalyptic Los Angeles and will tell an original story based on the Fall games and this new story will be part of the games canon.
Fall will release its entire debut season on Amazon Prime Video on April 11.
