DUNE star Rebecca Ferguson talks about how she defended herself after her ‘Idiot’ co-star yelled at her and made her cry

Duna: second part star Rebecca Ferguson she recently revealed that she was yelled at by one of her co-stars in anger and how she came forward to defend herself afterward. The most surprising thing was how the producers reacted to the way she defended herself, because they didn’t protect her.

Ferguson played Lady Jessica in Dune franchise, but it’s unclear whether the experience he had was from this film or another film. It doesn’t really matter, it just shows that there are still asshole actors out there working in Hollywood and still getting away with acting like assholes.

While a guest on the Reign With Josh Smith podcast, Ferguson shared the experience she had where she “found her voice” on set, recounting being yelled at by an actor who was at the top of the call list. She said:

“I made a movie with an absolutely idiotic co-star and this human being was so insecure and angry because this person couldn’t get the scenes out. And I think I was so vulnerable and uncomfortable that I got yelled at and I would cry walking off the set .

“This person literally looked at me in front of the entire crew and said, ‘You call yourself an actor? This is what I have to work with?’ I stood there breaking down. Because this person was number one on the call sheet, there was no safety net for me. No one was protecting me.”

What bullshit! Ferguson then opened up about how she stood up to her co-star and how it was the first time she stood up for herself on set. As you can imagine, this was unnerving for her.

She was scheduled to work with him the next day, and when she walked onto the set, she told the unnamed actor, “Get off my set. You can fuck off. I’ll work for a tennis ball. I never want to do that.” see you.” She added:

“And then I remember the producers came up and said, ‘You can’t do that to number one. We have to let this person be on set.’ And I said, ‘The person can turn around and I can act behind the head.’ And I did. I was so scared. I can feel it now when I say it.”

The director of this film project eventually admitted to Ferguson that they weren’t doing a good enough job of creating a safe environment. Ferguson said the director said, “You’re right. I don’t care about everyone else. I’m trying to denigrate this person because he’s so unstable.”

No one in any work environment should be subjected to what Furguson went through with this actor. What a horrible experience to go through, but I’m glad she stood up for herself and fired back.
