Vin Diesel offers updates on the “grand finale” of the FAST AND FURIOUS franchise

THE Fast & Furious The saga is about to end with one last film from the star of the franchise vin Diesel started working with the development team. We’re still a long way off, but he’s already trying to hype the “grand finale” by promising fans it will be epic. She recently shared the update on Instagram, saying:

“We just wrapped up our quick weekend meeting with the writers and the entire team… to say the excitement for our finale was incredibly powerful is an understatement. Wow. So exciting…

“As everyone headed into the weekend energized and excited, I thought of all of you… remembering the countless moments when your enthusiasm and passion became the driving force on our creative journey. Your commitment to our saga has had a unique impact on its success and evolution… as my youngest daughter would say, it’s profound.

“Thank you for being the backbone of this global saga that, thanks to you, transcends the screen. This grand finale isn’t just a finale; it’s a celebration of the incredible family we’ve built together. I hope I make you proud!”

Even as fans have come to accept the ridiculousness that this franchise has become, the last two films have been particularly bad. I’ve been a fan of this franchise since the beginning, but it lost its grip and spiraled out of control. Maybe this final film will be able to correct course and win, instead of crashing and burning.

Before that ending arrives, however, Dwayne Johnson is returning to reprise his role as Luke Hobbs in a spin-off film that will take place between Fast X and the grand finale. That movie was written by the franchise writer Chris Morgan.

I really hope they manage to close out this franchise in a way that makes all the long time fans happy.
