Warner Bros and New Line Cinema have released a teaser trailer for a new mysterious horror thriller titled The observers. The film comes from a debut director AM Shinewho is the director’s daughter M. Night Shyamalan, who is producing the film. Shine previously worked on Shyamalan’s Apple TV+ series Servant.
Shine also wrote the film, based on a novel she wrote. The story follows Mina, “a 28-year-old artist, who becomes stranded in a vast, pristine forest in the west of Ireland. When Mina finds refuge, she unknowingly becomes trapped with three strangers who are watched and haunted every night by mysterious creatures.
As you’ll see in the trailer, The Watchers definitely feels like a Shyamalan film and comes with an eerie tone and eerie, mysterious vibes. Movie stars Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Oliver FinneganAND Olwen Fouere.
Warner Bros. will release The observers in theaters June 7, 2024.
